That's a lovely welcome ... thanks Fiona.
The Springfield cafe has offered us a rare cup of Redbush so we're partial, especially on those sunny outdoor days, quite the place. The breakfast info is a great new notice. We must try it.
We must surely pass you ... when we walk left or right, north or south?
all best

Dear Martin,
In your previous blog (found via a link to The Song of Lunch), you mention that you and your partner have recently moved to a waterside apartment at Clapton. I live on a narrowboat nearby, on the River Lea and I just thought I'd drop you a line to say "Welcome!" I hope you enjoy your time here. (Do visit Springfield Park, overlooking the river and the marshes, on top of which is a lovely, affordable cafe with wholesome food and great breakfasts).
Good luck for a positive reception of your screen adaptation of The Song of Lunch - I'm looking forward to seeing it on BBC2 this Friday.
